Charlotte Park, Florida (not sent but on landing page for 5/10/21 send)

Quiet Charlotte Park is on the southwestern Florida coast and is nearly surrounded by the city of Punta Gorda. About half the homes in Charlotte Park sit next to a canal and have a boat dock. The canals are lined by palm trees and eventually lead to Charlotte Harbor.

Galax is a quaint little town in southwestern Virgina's beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Over the last 20 years it has morphed into a tourist destination thanks to its traditional "old-time" music and arts scene.

Outside of Tampa and about 15 miles from Florida's Nature Coast, Brooksville is a rural, friendly and slightly overgrown place. It reminds many people of what Florida used to be and has moss-covered trees, cute retail shops and large historic homes on canopy lanes.

The fishing village of Port Salerno sits along the St. Lucie River Inlet in southeastern Florida. Salty Port Angeles is a deep water port on the stunning Olympic Peninsula in northwestern Washington. It sits in the shadow of wondrous Olympic National Park, home to ancient glaciers to temperate rainforests. The touristy downtown has shops and eateries in attractive red brick buildings.

Bokeelia, Florida (6/10/2021)

On the southwestern Florida coast, Pine Island is the state's largest island and is home to balmy Bokeelia, a sleepy seaside village. A fishermen's dream and a boaters' Paradise, this little place boasts colorful restaurants and waterfront residences.

Port Costa, California (6/12/2021)

Off the beaten path, this tiny, funky waterfront town is part of the beautiful Carquinez Strait shoreline north of San Francisco. Neighborhoods are populated with interesting bungalows and shabby chic Victorians. The small, slightly tumbledown downtown has a variety of fun pubs, eateries and shops.

Brunswick, Maine (6/15/2021)

On Maine's scenic mid-coast, Brunswick sits between the Androscoggin River and two beautiful bays to its south. The city is dotted with classic New England architecture, and the downtown has attractive red brick buildings. Bowdoin College, a small, selective liberal arts college, makes its home here.

Idyllic Southport sits at the mouth of the Cape Fear River in southeastern North Carolina. The air smells of salt, and seagulls fly over the weathered waterfront. The charming downtown boasts colorful shops and painted benches. Clean, long beaches are down the road.

Mexico Beach, Florida (6/20/2021)

Little Mexico Beach, a very relaxed place, sits along the Florida Panhandle and is known as "Mayberry on the Water." It is steadily rebuilding after Hurricane Michael, and its five miles of often empty white sand caressed by pale blue water are open for business.

Spanish Fort, Alabama (6/23/2021)

Spanish Fort sits across from Mobile on Mobile Bay's eastern shore and started out as a French trading post. Boat ramps provide access to the bay or lower delta. Across the river, Meaher State Park has a boardwalk and a beautiful beach.

Aventura, Florida (6/27/2021 and 2nd second send 7/26/2021)

Peppered with lakes, canals and other waterways, balmy Aventura sits along the Intracoastal Waterway north of Miami. Tall hotels gleam in the sun and stylish boats bob in marinas across the city, awaiting their next adventure. Many homes boast spectacular city, river or fairway views.

Cannon Beach, Oregon (6/30/2021 and 2nd send 7/17/21)

Cannon Beach, a charming, artsy seaside resort community, sits on Oregon's rugged northern coast. Locals enjoy fun restaurants, a great farmers' market, boutique shops and a dozen art galleries. The beach is one of state's most beautiful.

Marco Island, Florida (7/4/2021)

Balmy Marco Island sits at the northern end of the Ten Thousand Islands. It is one of the last bits of civilization on the southwestern Florida coast and has six miles of gleaming white sand beaches nestled against mesmerizing blue waters. Neighborhoods are laced with canals and have boat slips.

Fairhope, Alabama (7/7/2021 and 2nd resend 7/24/2021)

Charming Fairhope is on a bluff overlooking Alabama's Mobile Bay. Locals enjoy sweeping waterfront vistas and a tree-lined downtown with bookstores, art galleries, boutiques and restaurants. Colorful flower baskets hang from nearly every lamp post.

Stuart, Florida (7/11/21)

Sleepy Stuart sits on Florida's Treasure Coast and bills itself as the "Sailfish Capital of the World." The cute downtown has art galleries, restaurants and a farmers' market. Stuart Beach is long, broad and white, snuggled against bright blue waters, and is one of the country's best.

Kitty Hawk, North Carolina (7/15/2021)

Kitty Hawk is a casual barrier island town in the heart of the Outer Banks. It has both a touristy village with fun shops and a beachfront area with pinkish white sand, cyan waters and a long, historic pier.

Indian Harbour Beach, Florida (7/18/2021)

Indian Harbour Beach sits on a barrier island along Florida's Space Coast and is known for its long stretch of powdery white sand mixed with red seashell sand. Two beachside parks are perfect for sand castle building, surfing and soaking up sun.

Apollo Beach, Florida (7/20/2021)

Quiet Apollo Beach rests along Tampa Bay on Florida's Gulf Coast and is laced with more than 50 miles of canals. Many homes back to water, and boat docks are common. The Apollo Beach Preserve has a nice stretch of sand and ocean views.

Seabrook sits along Galveston Bay in southeastern Texas and maintains a peaceful suburban quality. It has a large number of boating enthusiasts and a fun historic section with shops, B&Bs and eateries. Sylvan Beach Park and its beach are about five miles north of town.

Sleepy Sebastian sits along the southeastern Florida coast and is a peaceful place, home to Pelican Island, America's first wildlife refuge, and to the Indian River Lagoon National Scenic Byway, the nation's most biologically diverse estuary. Wildlife is abundant, and golden and white sand oceanfront beaches are within a 30 minute drive.

Carolina Beach, North Carolina (8/10/2021)

Along the southern North Carolina coast, low key Carolina Beach was once only accessible by boat. Today is is a popular vacation destination with a fun wooden boardwalk and a white sand oceanfront beach with tall sea grass.

Gold Beach, Oregon (8/12/2021)

Gold Beach sits on Oregon's rugged southern coast, bounded by mountains, the rushing Rogue River and the sea. The miles of beach are natural, pristine and uncrowded. Galleries, shops and eateries dot the small but colorful downtown.

Gulf Breeze, Florida (8/15/2021)

Nearly surrounded by water, idyllic Gulf Breeze sits at the end of the Fairpoint Peninsula on the western Florida Panhandle. The white, sugar sand beaches and azure waters of Pensacola Beach are just across Pensacola Bay, and nearby Deadman's Island, only accessible by boat, is open for paddleboarding, crabbing, and kayaking.

Along the Bay of St. Louis on Mississippi's central Gulf Coast, charming Bay St. Louis has a picturesque setting amid rivers, marshes and estuaries. Tall trees, colorful shops, bookstores and Cajun restaurants in century-old cottages dot the downtown. The beach has a long pier perfect for fishing.

Yulee, Florida (8/19/2021)

Yulee is a country place about 25 miles northeast of Jacksonville in northeastern Florida. Marshes and inlets border the town's eastern side. Fifteen miles beyond that are the gorgeous, powdery white beaches of Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island.

Only accessible via ferry and small plane, beautiful Avalon sits on scenic Santa Catalina Island off the Southern California coast. The charming downtown includes fish markets, eclectic shops, upscale eateries and more. Three public beaches sit along Crescent Avenue.

Bay Harbor Islands, Florida (8/23/21)

Northeast of Miami on Florida's southeastern coast, balmy, sun soaked Bay Harbor Islands (BHI) spreads across two small islands packed with apartments and tall, white washed condos. The white sands and azure waters of Bal Harbour Beach are less than a mile away.

Kure Beach, North Carolina (8/24/2021)

Kure Beach is a casual barrier island town on the southern North Carolina coast, with the Cape Fear River to its west and the Atlantic Ocean to its east. The beach is long and clean, and the town pier is the oldest on the Atlantic Coast.

Oak Harbor, Washington (8/27/2021)

On Washington's beautiful Whidbey Island, weathered Oak Harbor is a waterfront town near the rocky cliffs of Deception Pass. The downtown is dotted with shops, eateries and galleries. Dugualla Bay's beach is only known to locals and is often empty (except for local wildlife).

Along the Emerald Coast on Florida's western Panhandle, low key Fort Walton Beach (FWB) is a fishing and beach town, famous for its sparkling turquoise waters and powdery, white sand beaches on the barrier island Okaloosa just south of town.

Between Venice and Sarasota on Florida's southeastern coast, the unincorporated little beach town of Nokomis reminds many people of what Florida used to be, sun-soaked and relaxed. At the end of nearby Casey Key, a narrow barrier island, beautiful Nokomis Beach boasts pristine white sand and crystal clear water.

Little Palm Shores sits along the Indian River Lagoon on Florida's Space Coast and is a quiet, residential place where people know their neighbors. The sugar white sands of Satellite Beach are just across the river.

Edisto Beach, South Carolina (9/12/2021)

Diminutive Edisto Beach sits on Edisto Island at the mouth of the Edisto River on the southern South Carolina coast. Surrounded by marshland, Edisto State Park and the sea, Edisto Beach is a quiet seaside hamlet and home to four miles of pristine, white sand oceanfront beaches.

Niceville, Florida (9/15/2021)

Once known as Boggy Bayou, Niceville sits next to Choctawhatchee Bay on Florida's western Panhandle coast. Henderson State Park, about 13 miles away, has sugar white beaches, a boardwalk and camping areas. Three more beach parks are within a short drive.
